Not that easy. The thematic play is to run, but we also want to have a board to come home to, and now could be a good time to start it. Stick is stripped, and does not particularily want to hit us on the two point.

Yet, there are some additional points to consider:

  • Making the 3 point does leave the blot on 9. True, so does running, but then 35 is duplicated, we will have return 6's from the 15 point, and if hit then we will still have only 1 back as opposed to 2.
  • The 3 point is not "next in line"
  • While Stick is stripped now, he probably won't be next turn, and we may not jump his prime.

These also point to just going with the thematic run.
