Breaking the anchor, down in the race and a weaker board must be wrong.

Giving up the midpoint (and hence the outfield) is costly in a holding game and you're leaving a shot as well, so I reject that too.

At first I liked breaking the 7 point for the purity of the board fill, but now I'm thinking maybe I break the 8 point instead to leave only one blot to fill in since there might be some contact on the next exchange. Probably a close call.
