A dictum is "don't volunteer a shot in a holding game", but here we can run off the anchor with tempo while taking a ~20 pip race lead. Seems tempting, but white's board is strong. However, note that 18/17* 18/16 dupes fours so maybe...

White hits with any ace plus 42, 43, 44, and 45 for a total of 18 shots if I counted right. The other half the time we still have work to do to cover the ace and bring our stragglers around, so I won't hit. Make the ace and slot the four.
