Playing 10/4 5/3 hopes to get hit, have extra timing to wait for wait for opponent to crunch a blot, hit opponent, get hit back, hit the blot, closeout both, and still get a bit lucky getting gammon.

That is a lot that has to happen for the play to work. Meanwhile you risk getting stupid rolls and don’t roll the prime cleanly.

Even if the play wotks by hitting a second checker it might not work. Opponent anchoring anywhere is worse for you then just closing out a single checker and having to roll the prime this many points will give him many chances to do so.

10/4 6/4 is my play with confidence.
