Right! If you get a sneak peek at the opponent's search order before you pick your own, then you can get a huge advantage, even if you don't know where the prize is. So even though there is no single search order that is "best" in an absolute sense, there can be better or worse search orders relative to each other.

You can even have cycles, where Andrew beats Barbara with high probability, Barbara beats Chris with high probability, Chris beats Drew with high probability, etc., and Zoe beats Andrew with high probability.
