How strong is the "Always" in Pottle's (Always run the back checker) rule? Here, I'll follow the rule, especially since making the 3 point leaves a gap on the 4 and a blot on the 9. But what if we had rolled 5-2 for example, and could either run the back checker or make the 4 point while removing on the blot on the 9?
