Let's see if I can count shots here: If I play 14/16, 3s, 4s, and 7s hit - that's 20 shots plus 11, 12, 22, 52 and 61 for 28 shots.

If we hit with the deuce, that leaves 11 shots plus 33, 35, 36, 55, 56, and 66. That's only 20. Assuming I counted right.

20 is a lot less than 28, but hitting gives white a lot of chances to pick up a second checker and win a gammon.

If I correctly remember the ref positions of two closed out on the bar with none off, white would win gammmons about 50% of the time vs only about 5% for one checker closed out.

Seems like blue is risking too many gammons to hit here. At another score I'd hit.
