Running to the midpoint seems "obvious". Is there something better?

23/17 9/5* leaves 5s to hit (13 shakes) plus 36 for a total of 15 if I counted right. That's four less than the 21 aimed at the hypothetical blot on the midpoint. After hitting, 55 is pretty devasting, and blue still has work to do to cover the blot on the five is missed, but four shots is four shots, and the 16 dancing numbers play very well.

23/17 9/5*. Can't say I'd see this otb.
