I'd play 24/16 20/16(2). I count 12 rolls that force White to leave a direct shot after this play (plus some others are awkward) vs. zero if you instead play 24/16(2). That's a large enough difference to switch from the 20 to the 16 and keep a goalkeeper back on the 24.
