The seven point does a better job of blocking than the five point - she needs a 2 then a 5 or 6 to leap out vs only really needing a four . Meanwhile, she has several rolls to do that before having to crunch her board.

Stepping up with the stragglers looks like a good alternative to counter-priming. I don't think it offers as many chances to win, but should lose fewer gammons since the spare will be able to run earlier.

Not sure, but I'll make the seven point.
