Agree that making the 23pt seems normal, but I would have preferred 10/9 with the ace, improving my chances to make a point in "the" prime (including the 4pt), which the 10pt isn't.

But hard to succeed anyway, and 10pt at least leaves no shots and blocks a few rolls, so maybe I am off, but 10/9 should as a minimum be the DMP play between the two.
