If we cube it will be for the match so the opp's take point is the same as the score if he were to drop, 5a 2a, or a shade less than 26%.
For a brief intro into utilitarian epc check this link.
Not on that page is this:
Now to the money question, how do we convert the epc to proper cube action?
- The point of last take for the trailer is when he is down a number of effective pips equal to the number of rolls to go minus three.
- You can send an initial double when you are within' 2 effective pips of his point of last take and a recube when you are within' 1 effective pip of his point of last take.
(the trailer's point of last take occurs when he trails by no more than n-3 effective pips)The EPC for both players should be relatively easy to figure out. White has nearly a pure 5 roll position so his epc will be 7*5+1 = 36 with the tiniest smidge extra for all doubles not working perfectly plus back to back to back to back aces lol.
For the on roll player, blue, he has a relatively nice position. Nice positions waste ~ 7 pips depending. If it was a pure nice position with only 6 checkers left it would actually waste only around 6. (Nice positions don't waste the full 7 until there are ~10 checkers on the board) So here we have a case of less checkers but more wastage. I'd say this even out to around 7 pips so 28 + 7 = 35 for blue's epc.
