The "obvious" play is to make the deuce and play off the eight. But that only leaves one checker in the outfield and we're playing a holding game where it pay to wait. 6/1 3/1 maximizes our timing, but I don't like exchanging the six for the ace. Perhaps it's the bot play, but I'll go for the more normal looking 7/2 3/1. Leave two spares in the outfield instead of one, make a fifth homeboard and slot the remaining one.
