I don't play for money, let alone for high stakes. And taking a dictum from chess "play the board, not the opponent" I attempt to make the bot play most of the time. (I'll sometimes go for a "practical" cube or use "the trick" against a human). So I'd do the same thing in all five scenarios.

Both white and blue need 14 crossovers to win or to save gammon. Blue is on roll and will miss a lot less than white, so I don't seen the need to rip four when 6/5(2) 1/off(2) leaves no immediate shots. It may well win more gammons since it wins more games.
