Nice roll, for sure, but tough to know what to do. After a good deal of pondering, I think we have to take the second anchor. Though getting a good outcome (saving the gammon?! ) from an ace-deuce backgame against a 5 prime is difficult, trying to turn things around by hitting on the 8 point feels worse to me. So, do we then put another chequer there with 24/23 or make the 'kamikaze' 3/2*? QF - and especially the title of the position - suggest the latter; and this might be right at DMP, but at money play its the former for me. When the going gets tough in our game discretion is often the better part of valour!
