Trying for a two anchor backgame looks like we would have to give something up next roll. I will go for 24/22 23/22 9/8 giving four paths to victory and making gammon loss much less likely. Each path is unlikely but collectively they add up.

i) Opponent might get tripped up early on

ii) 16 vs 10 contact

iii) 22 point contact

iv) Just might get double six next roll and then three or four big doubles from there to win the race.
