I think we have enough timing for a 23 backgame so I will try the quiet 24/23 locking up the backgame with the first ace. I don't want to hit anything so we need to play something in our board and 5/4 would be my next ace as I don't want to bury any checkers. With the last 2 aces I can either give up a bit of outfield contact by advancing the 16p to the 15p, or I can shuffle the checkers from the 6P and hope to remake the 6p later.

As I have already decided that I need to win this game later, I don't need the contact in the outfield, and in fact it might even be beneficial to bring those checkers closer to home so they can help build the board. So I end up playing 24/23, 5/4, 16/15(2). I feel pretty good about this play and would argue hard in a consultation if my opponent wanted to try something else.
