Usually when the player on roll owns both ace points it's a take, if it's even a cube. And only 8 in the zone is nothing to be afraid of. If blue sends a second checker back and white fails to anchor it looks like a market loser, so I'd send it here.

Then there's position and threats with an even race to point towards D/T.

Trying to ignore the "hint" which may or may not be helpful.
