With 6/5(4), you kill the 3s and the 2s and bear off safely with the 6s, the 5s and the 1s. The 4s are neutral.

On the long term, the great merit of the candlestick on the 5 point lays in, if a shoot materializes itself, it will be a single shoot on the 3 pt (if Black leaves the point and White has a 2 but 2-2 to play). Usually a back game may be a winner because of a repetitive double shoot.
