I think it is my play also, but not as good as you are saying. The shot you describe would be more than a single shot, 3s from bar plus 61, 41, 21. Also could be a double shot if one checker is left on five point. In other direction a 23 is also a safe 2 and might negate extra shots depending on where the checker enters.
