Clocks rules question

I could go either way on what the rule should be, but think it should be codified. Would need to add things in about when the warning beep would occur and if it is preference, allowed, or whatever language is now used. Do you know the rules about this situation for live tournament chess? I was having trouble searching that, but I do see many online implementations have some sort of audible warning.

Agree. But this is the highest level of the tournament and clocks have been commonplace for about twenty years now. Do you suspect Farca did not know a time-out meant losing?
