We're still behind by a long way, but not long enough to have enough timing for a backgame. Making the bar point would seem to be a good compromise between winning going forward and still maintaining contact. The problem is that the 20 and 18 don't work well together, so while making the bar might be the bot move, I'm skeptical.

So, I'm thinking: keep the midpoint, build the board, and hope to get a shot. No idea if XG agrees.
