XG crashing on desktop

This has been happening to me too. Not every day, like you said, but enough to be annoying. I don't know what's causing the issue or how to make it stop. One apparent difference is that the instance of XG I'm running doesn't crash; it's still there, still working hard at *something* despite making zero progress on the rollout for the last several hours.
Pause Rollout doesn't do anything, nor does Cancel Analysis. Even after closing the program, I'll go to Task Manager and see XG still using up most of my CPU's capacity. It won't actually shut off until I hit End Task. Except when it does; sometimes just closing the program stops everything. No idea why.
Yesterday I was able to replicate the issue outside the context of a full-blown rollout: I ran a tricky cube decision through 7-ply, and it happened again. But the day before I'd run a similar cube decision through 7-ply with no issues.
For what it's worth, my computer has similar specs to yours. CPU is a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H, 2.30 GHz; 16 GB RAM; running Windows 11; purchased 2023.
