Trying to see why you shouldn't hit here:

Ahead in the race says play safe.

Keeping the advanced anchor is surely worth something.

But the safe play buries a checker, hitting roughly evens the race, 13 in the zone with four stuck behind a four prime looks pretty strong, and white has no board.
