8s, 10s, and 11s are very good rolls, but that's only 11. 61, 63, 51, 52, and 54 force us to leave a direct shot. That's ten bad rolls, and if we assume that white hits one third of the time and wins afterwards that's about 10% GWC of immediate direct-shot equity. I count 15 rolls where we can shuffle checkers in our homeboard and leave an indirect, and assuming 9 rolls hit white picks up another 10% of GWC.

Is there another two percent of "something-else-equity"? If we roll one of the 15 rolls that leave the runner where it is and white misses we are still not gin since we still have to get the straggler home. Might that push it to ND? Maybe, but I'll ship it and make it white's problem.
