It seems to me that the rules were made at least partially arbitrarily and they have opened the door for various questions, if answered, will debunk a few major fallacies about luck and cube.

I sent them the email below. I'll let you know if I receive any answers. Feel free to offer your opinions on the questions and whatever else more on the subject.

One rule says "You may not cancel cube actions, your own roll, or the opening roll".

I'm sure you haven't made up the rules arbitrarily but I don't understand the second part of this specific rule.

Since one player's bad luck is the other player's good luck, a player's rolling unlucky numbers is the same as his opponent's rolling lucky numbers. Thus logic would say that a player should be able to cancel one of his own unlucky rolls as well.

Would you please explain what was the rationale behind not allowing this?

Since winning the opening roll gives a player a slight advantage, it is also a lucky roll for the player winning it. Thus the same logic and the same question as above apply to it also.

Would you please explain what was the rationale behind not allowing this either? (I'm asking this separately because I don't want to assume that it's the same as for not canceling one's own roll, for the possibility of it being for a different reason.)

Thanks,
