Please clarify

Even after reading you two guys' comments trying to understand, I still don't and I'm wondering whether Max, if not clem also, got things backwards.

Considering that the rule aplies to the player whose roll is cancelled, and thus who is on roll anew with access to initiate a cube action, I can't follow your comments.

Could you please elaborate and clarify, perhaps with an image of a position showing who canceled, who is on roll, etc.? Thanks.
