Sorry for the typo : Bar/21, 3/1*

Beginners to advanced players are usually reluctant to double from the bar and even with more experience, people are still pondering a lot before doubling from the bar, hence they may be more prone to blunder.

On the contrary, not to be on the bar (when Blue plays 7/5) may induce White to feel stronger than she really is and then to blunder much more (in this specific position)

Of course, you are not this kind of player, but you have already faced a non master player, and this question may have arisen for a couple of seconds.
