The problem with GOAT discussions is the fact that they very rarely are rationel and fact based. Often people are empotional and subjective because they are so invested in their idols that they are too biased to even want to understand the different arguments for and against the players in the discussion.

As for the tennis comparison the discussion is long over. The fact that you even think there's a discussion about who is the tennis GOAT is a good example of people being too biased. The data on this topic is so clear that it is pointless to have this discussion.
