I'd say there is a GOAT debate for golf: Tiger and Jack both have many endorsers.

What I find less interesting in GOAT debates is that they to such an extent come down to defining the word great in this context. Does it mean best? Longest list of important accomplishments? Most admired? Most dominant compared to the opposition at that point in time?

Given that definition as a starting point I'd be happy to weigh in with well-informed amateur opinions...

I assume CMC takes "tennis résumé" as the starting point and then it is hard to ignore ND's dominance in most categories, whether you play on the ATP tour or not. However, I fully agree that other defintions are reasonable.
