You ended with a question mark, but you started with "So..." Sounds to me ... okay, whatever, I am not interested in pointless arguments.

I would prefer the new owner to take care of the old problems first. I believe these problems are not too complicated -- at least the export/import problems shouldn't be too complicated-- to fix and shouldn't take much time. On another hand, implementing AI functions rate to be a much more difficult task and it is an open question how much better the bot will be as a result. Fixing these problems will reassure me the new owner is committed to building a quality product. While some may not care about these problems, I do. Like a lot. These problems contribute to a waste of countless hours and resources by BMAB, for example. It is mostly for this reason BMAB analyzes all matches twice, by the way.
