Running gives Blue about 37% in a straight race.

What's the approximate formula for calculating that GWC? 1.5 percentage points per pip?

I've learned the race cube formulas for the takepoints, and here it would be ~12 pips down for a pipcount of 114. Figuring a 22% takepoint, and blue being 4 pips down instead of 12, 1.5 percentage points per pip would give 39%.

Not saying you are wrong about the 37, just trying to understand how you calculated it, and hoping to add it to my bag of tricks. Thanks.
