4 candidates, 4 game plans :

• The outside anchor with 21/17 : the 17 point, limiting the blitz and leaving a single blot

• The counter-attacking with 11/7* : some duplication of the 2 and 5, depriving white of a die and hoping of anchoring if hit back or making a PoH or the bar point otherwise

• The outside point with 13/10 11/10 : at least a point and only 8 checkers in the (extended) zone

• The 5 point with 8/5 6/5 : the very long term asset despite the 3 blots spread in three quadrants (and no duplication)

The long term asset is the best, because 7 checkers (inside)+ 2 (the spares on the 13 point and the blot on the Black bar point) in the very extended zone are not enough to deter Black from building his board
