Standard 24/18 13/9 leave us vulnerable on both sides of the board when white has better board. White has those stack on the mid and he will be happy to hit lose on his bar point and slot it and bring one more builder/attacker for making new inner point ot attacking us when we come in from th bar.

8/2 6/2 strip our eight point and goes a little bit deep.

After this move we are ahead in the race, so race is thematic. I vote for 24/14. If white doesn't hit us we have 23 34 45 to make new point in outer board or just secure blot and get advantage in less numbers of back checkers.
