Useful Backgammon Sites/Defunct Sites?

I feel like the online community is kind of dead compared to how it was a decade ago for instance. I'm not talking about here but everywhere on the net. For eg. I just logged in to Gridgammon to see if it even still existed. It does and there were about 10 people logged in. Abysmal numbers from what it once was. Maybe it's busier at a better hour but I imagine the numbers are way down.

Or rec.games.backgammon which has been dead for over a year now. Or Kit's gammonline/gammonu is RIP'ed. What are/were some of your favorite backgammon related websites and are they still active? What sites do you miss or wish still existed? Are you happy with Facebook replacing everything in that arena (rgb, GU, BGO, etc...)?
