It is interesting to compare the money game rollouts for hitting and making the 2 point vs hitting and making the 4 point.

The 4 point has .26% more losses but has a net gain in gammons of 1.42% and a net gain in backgammons of .5% so seems like it should be higher but it is .014 worse in cubeful equity. An explanation of course is that the 2 point play leads to better cube value but why should it?
