Ahead in the race against a deuce point game says "play it safe" to me.

Hitting leaves five blots strewn all over the board, and while it works well when it works, it backfires badly when it doesn't. I'd hit at GG but not here. The prosaic 13/7 8/5 only leaves 2 shots and we'll have plenty of time to clear the 18.
