You have elucidated very well there how you personally find using a baffle box to be awkward. But as - in a FB post quite recently - you understandably acknowledged that you would agree to use one in a private game v. an affluent high roller who was clearly a weaker player, I wonder whether you would really not participate in a tournament where BB Preference applied? What % of players do you think would ask you to use one? And of them, how many would insist even after you assured them (if they didn't think this already) that you always shake the dice properly and well? Would this likely small number of potential instances where you would have to use one really stop you from entering? If so, that's sad.

And whether or not you'd play in such an event, do you agree with the suggestion that the opponent of the player requiring the box should have sole discretion as to whether cups must be used with it?
