What would be very instructive is to understand :

1 - Why hitting all the blots is better than waiting for White crashing against the wall of the backgame. Is it a strategic move (trying to contain the 3 blots by building a kind of blockade outside) or a tactical move (trying to gain some timing) ?

2 - Why out of all the plays including hit(s), the hit all move is the only one (besides being the best move) that is not a half blunder or a blunder

At least, both answers are related.
