What's Missing in Backgammon

To date, I have had the pleasure of meeting three top players in person (Dirk, Michy, Mochy), and all three are very friendly, polite, and modest. I perceive this as a very pleasant difference compared to top chess players, for example (I'm not interested in poker).

Of course, it's harder to market, but I don't know if I would like it better with loudmouths. And there have already been some great streams, e.g., the UBC tournaments Mochy-Ueda and Mochy-Sander. IMHO, the main reason that BG doesn't grow is we're not reaching young people...
