I find this one incredible. I can see the blot on the ace point being useful, if blue didn't have the made ace point. But how does that blot getting hit help ? is difficult to see with a board that doesn't form a great prime. Maybe it sucks a checker off the bar point so there is some air when a shot appears and it's not trapped like it seems. I would've played 24/23(2) with zero hesitation and then looked around to decide how to play up front.
