I get dinged a lot for failing to his loose on the ace. It's one of those things that I just don't have a sense of when it's right and when it's not.

Here, we have a chance to make an anchor and bring a tenth checker into the zone, and we're about even in the race so I'll go with the prosaic 24/22 13/8 instead of the loose hit.
