Yes it does. If the ratio is a little less than 1/2, the play that both wins more and loses more net g's is probably correct because cube ownership has the effect of enhancing that sides wins. If there was no cube and in backgammon, then the ratio has to be a little over 1/2 for the big play to be correct.
