Help understanding XG cube information

I'm looking for help understanding the Cube Information panel in XG at a particular score.

Suppose White leads 5-away/8-away holding a 2 cube and redoubles to 4. Assume no gammons. Black can say, "I'm going to assume that all of my wins are with the cube on 8, so my take point is the ME at 8-away/3-away, which is 19.5%" While not entirely accurate, it's a decent enough WAG... Black is going to redouble crazy early, since it's especially costly to lose their market.

XG says in the Cube Information panel in the Black's live cube take point is 14.47%. How can that be lower than Black's ME at 8-away/3-away?

I must be missing something very basic here.
