10, 7 would be my boring route. There's no way we're touching the back checker since we're way down in the race and the opponent has hardly any real way of attack us/pressuring us any time soon. As long as that play is off the table I doubt there's much of a difference between how we push checkers around but 10, 7 seems standard.
