Hit, point, unstack, something else? - Rollout

When in doubt, make the five point, right? Well, it just didn't seem right to blot on the ten leaving a direct shot, strip the eight, and leave both ugly stacks; XG agrees with that.
Hitting seems to prematurely bury a checker for not much in return.
That leaves bringing two down or making the three point. I opted for the three point since I have a bias towards permanent assets, which can steer me wrong sometimes. The advantages of pointing on the three are: unstack, make a homeboard point, and leave no blots. Two down only accomplishes 2 of those 3.
XGR++ thought making the three was a small error, while the rollout says it's the top move. But not by much. More trials or stronger rollout settings might reverse the order.
