One other thing I noticed watching XGR++ play against itself is that almost all of blue's wins come with the cube on 4. Once white has two closed out on the bar it usually goes from ND/T to RD/T. Only a few sequences seem to blow through the doubling window.

That wasn't one of the questions asked, of course, but it's an interesting feature of the position.
