NR I think. If you do recube, you'll lose all 14 of your non-hitters plus ~ 1.5 of your 22 hitters. That totals 20.5 wins if you recube. Winning 23 with the cube on 2 wins a net of 20 points which is the same as winning 20.5 with the cube on 4.

If you don't recube and hit, I'll guess you'll win 21 of those 22. Can you win the additional 2 games to get to 23 wins? I think so. If you roll one of your 14 non-hitters, White leaves another shot a third of the time. That gives you over 1 more extra hit. If that doesn't happen, White will usually come down to having 3 checkers on his 4 point where he again will leave a shot a third of the time. I think that adds over 1 more hit which puts you over 23 wins if you don't cube.
