Choices are 6/5 5/4 or 3/2. Blotting numbers after these plays are 2,4,0. 3/2 however leaves an awkward distribution on several rolls and leaves fewer ways to make the ace. 6/5 looks better than 5/4 because you also want to clear the highest point and leaving 1 fewer checker there is a start towards clearing the point. 6/5 looks best.
