"Do what's hard first." We'll have many opportunities to slot and make the five point while making the GP won't be so easy.

Also, we're slightly behind in the race, so making the defensive anchor seems thematic - when ahead in the race, it's often better to run than to make an anchor. Of course, when really behind in the race it's sometimes better to hang back on the low points, but we're not very far behind here.

So, make the GP and then build the board.
